Purchased my first one off of Amazon, but needed more. Found that it was cheaper to purchase them directly from My Pet Chicken.

Helped a lot but needs a little more adjusting

I does the job but you do have to put it on tighter than the directions say. He still makes sickly attempt to crow but it's quiet enough to tolerate.

This product did not work on our medium sized rooster. He was still able to crow loudly in spite of wearing the color, and he was able to scratch it off his neck quite easily. If I tightened it, he choked.

Able to keep my rooster! Was receiving hate mail T my house from the crowing. There are no rules against it where I live but a neighbor was very unhappy. So brought this guy and we are all happy now.

I put this on my rooster, just like the directions stated. I was worried about previous reviews that said one rooster had died from a too tight collar. It worked for one crow and then all he did was pick at with his feet, even the hens started picking at it became loose everytime I tried to make it work so for me not a good purchase

It doesn't really work. We kept tightening the collar until the rooster had trouble breathing, then had to back off. But as long as he can breath, he still crowed (maybe not as loudly, but still loud enough to bother the neighbors). I think it needs to be wider (so it covers more of the neck, up and down).

If you have a rooster that crows and you’re wanting to save your neighbors or your family from very loud or constant Crowing these collars truly make a difference. They can be the difference between keeping your rooster and not for those really annoying birds that just have to crow constantly.

They don’t impact all natural feeding and breeding ability and they don’t impact lower normal chicken sounds they make, only preventing the crow sacs from fully filling with air for the full volume crow. ( they don’t stop the act all together, but SIGNIFICANTLY reduce its volume)

Collar is good and works for the most part. It of course doesn't totally silence the rooster but does take a good amount of noise out. Keep in mind that you need to really keep adjusting this to make sure it's safe and working properly. I gave it three stars only due to the fact that it didn't silence the call as much as i thought it would (compared to the video posted they have) at least not without choking the rooster.

I got the No-Crow Rooster Collar just fine. My rooster got it off a couple times until I was able to get more of his feathers out of the way. This collar did quiet my rooster's crowing quite a bit. His crowing became louder after several weeks of wearing it, so I assumed it needed adjustment. I tightened it a small bit, and watched him for a few minutes. He was making some sounds that were like a barking noise. I thought he was breathing okay and was pecking at some corn I gave him, so I put him away for the night. Tragically, I found him dead the next day. Be very careful when using this. I lost a rooster that was beautiful that we all enjoyed very much. The product did quiet his crowing, but if I was ever to use this again, I would observe my rooster for a much longer time after tightening the collar and make sure that he is breathing okay. I am very, very sad to have caused my rooster's death. R.I.P. Huey. I am so very, very sorry.
