I am 6'8" and this jacket fits perfect! It is very light and it folds up great! I wore it in 45 degree weather with a t-shirt underneath and I was very warm the whole time. If your around my height or need a great fall jacket, this I a great deal!!!

The only problem I can think of is that they don't have all the colors in my size, just black. Otherwise I would buy them all!

So when I received this packable down jacket, I noticed a couple areas where the stitching had a big loop in it. I mean 1-2 inches out then in. Another loose string, also. I loved the fit, and it was such a cold winter that this jacket proved very warm and lightweight. I will give it that.

Perhaps I should have returned the jacket, because I feel like it should have stood up better after a couple months. The loop for hanging severed pretty early on, and the quilting is straight through, instead of alternated. This means no insulation at seams, and maybe more feather escapees.

Using it as an under layer for skiing. It's too thin and not wind proof to be worn outside on its own, but it's small enough for an under layer and warm enough to be worn under the jacket. I wasn't successful in packing it into it's own pocket, but that wasn't really the feature I was after. It packs enough not to be taking much space in the bag and that's all I care about.

I wanted something light weight to wear as a layering insulated garment. This was the perfect jacket to wear under my hunting parka. I already owned the packable vest that I like very much, but I wanted something to also keep my arms warm in cold weather. I got the 2x size and it's plenty roomy for me without binding in the chest and arms. I presume it will wear as well as the vest that I already have which is made of the same material and has performed very well. For how I use this jacket as a layering garment I would highly recommend. I don't have any experience wearing it as an outside jacket, so I can't attest to it's performance as such.

For 30$ not bad. Warm enough for 40F weather and very light and packs well.
Feathers come out ALL THE TIME!!. I walk about 20min to get to class. And where my backpack meets the jacket there are at least 20 feathers. Also I find a few on whatever I'm wearing underneath. Constantly remove and they keep coming out. Low quality for sure.
Not sure how long this thing will last.

I'm a big guy and usually have issues with jackets fitting my shoulders. This one fits great. Not baggy but roomy in the shoulders.

The coat was nice... but not as puffy as the photo.
Maybe after I wash it, it will puff up.

Works as expected. Just a bit on the thin side. Works well in the +45-50s F. Not sure how long this would last with daily use.

A great jacket for 45-55 degree days. Not that tight so you can wear a layer underneath if you like. Good price too.

Think of it like an ultralight 20 degree rated sleeping bag with sleeves. If you sit out in the rain or throw it down in the mud or expect it to keep you warm at -40 you're going to have a bad time.

Pros:
- COST
- Great for weight weenies - this thing is lighter and warmer than any fleece
- No external logos
- Bounces back from being wadded up in a pack
- Moderately good wind stopping properties
- Great for layering. You can doff layers if you start overheating, add layers if you are stationary or it starts pouring: silk or under armour base layer >this jacket >waterproof shell is all you need and is much more versatile, easier to pack and clean than a dedicated heavy coat.

Cons:
- Fabric is very thin and prone to snags much like a sleeping bag
- You need a wickable base layer if you are going to be exerting yourself, otherwise the sweat gets trapped against you
- The minimal nature of this jacket means that the pockets have no load bearing or weight distribution properties. You can store a beanie, gloves and sunglasses no problem, but if you throw in a heavy ring of keys or a camera the whole side of the jacket droops
- I haven't reached over an open flame or stood next to a friendly drunk smoker, but I'm guessing this thing is not flame resistant whatsoever
- Tiny white feathers annoyingly get all over dark clothes like lint. Some day, I'm sure all of the feathers will have escaped and the jacket will be nothing but a paper-thin nylon shell

Definitely worth it for what it is.
