I originally bought the large thinking I would need extra space for clothing underneath. I did not need that. Swapped it for a medium and the delivery was prompt. I used this for a four day ski trip in Colorado and it was a fantastic jacket. It was waterproof and warm. I only needed a hoodie underneath. Would recommend.

Excellent jacket. Absolutely worth every penny. Layer up some and you will reap the benefits of this jacket. The warmth and shield that I got from the rain/snow was priceless during a recent trek on a wintery night in upstate New York.

Used once and got an excellent performance as far as being confortable, a good fit for my size (XL). It is fairly warm and it does repel water (snow) as expected. Only drawback it that it does not have enough pockets for a skiing session. However, that was advertised, so that was not a surprise.
Columbia is a well recognized brand in the industry, therefore, I expect this jacket to be long-lasting.

Very warm and looks nice but I think it ran a little smaller than I expected. I am 6'3" and 255lbs (Wear 54 suit coat). I wanted to order a XXL Tall but there wasn't one in stock so I got the XXL. Kind of tight in the shoulders, layering will be a problem in the colder weather. I do like all the pockets and the hood doesn't interfere as much with peripheral vision as some hoods.

One more thing...I love all the pockets!

Love it! The side pockets are waterproof as well which is nice. This is hands down the best jacket for snowboarding. I would highly recommend

Awesome. Warm. Waterproof. Wore this baby into the Andean mountains of Peru in the winter of 2017. Kept me warm from Lima to Arequipa and Machu Picchu.

I'll update the durability after a winter in Colorado.

I ordered the one with the light blue zippers, but what I received was one with dark blue zippers. The dark blue zippers gave a drab look to the jacket for my tastes. Also, the jacket has a very bulky look on me. However, the warm and large amount of room in the jacket made it seem very comfortable and warm for skiing.

Ok jacket. Nothing extraordinary. Warm ? Yes. Light weight, but for snowboarding ,look for something more sturdy. Material kind of thin, i dont think so is gona last for a long time at “extrime “ . I would newer pay $150 for this jacket, but for $50 go to work. Its good. Also on the picture on left sleeve its a logo “omni teck” on my jacket .... its nothing. So ... fake ? Dont know. .....

Great jacket; bought it as a winter shell for North Georgia. Pockets are very large and plentiful, the hood is very well-designed, and the jacket is made of good material that has (so far) repelled rain and heavy snow very well. I like the cinch-strap design around the waist; the pulls hook onto themselves so there's no loose elastic flapping about. The "goggles" pocket (this is a ski jacket) is great for my sunglasses.

One criticism is of the way the pockets carry weight... not that I'd be lugging around stones, but the weight of things in the pockets doesn't carry well across the shoulders and the pockets tend to flap or bounce around a bit even with just a large cell-phone.

Most important note, this this is HUGE. I wear an XLT in most shirts & jackets, but I was swimming in this thing. I thought to leave plenty of room for layering, but I would suggest ordering a size down if you have any doubt.

I bought this for a trip to the arctic of Finland. The small should be called medium but that's how all of Columbia's jackets are it seems. I already knew this when ordering but didn't mind as I was going to be wearing at least a couple layers of clothing underneath it. This jacket is not very thick but is surprisingly warm. I wore it for a straight week where the temperatures ranged from 7 below zero all the way down to 40 below, some of those days I only had a wool base layer, a fleece midlayer and this jacket as my outer layer. Even in those temperatures my torso stayed warm. It also has lots of pockets which I love and took advantage of, pockets with zippers and velcro to keep you from losing anything. This was great purchase. If my review was helpful to you I'd appreciate it if you clicked yes where it asks below, thank you.
