My daughter wore this while dressed like a cowgirl, and revived tons of compliments. It was fairly comfortable but a little hard to get on and very cold to wear. You literally have a fan on your butt!!!!
Takes 4 AA batteries that lasted about 2 hours.

Great costume

This costume was very cheaply constructed. The fan to blow it up didn't last more than a few minutes. The seams were all ripping apart. The fabric itself seemed ok. My son was planning to wear it for a few minutes at a family party just a few days before Halloween and then to go trick or treating. Needless to say, he wasn't able to wear it for Halloween at all. The fan lasted about 10 minutes before burning out. I expected the fan to last at least for those two events. We will not consider this brand again for these costumes.

Awesome costume. We wore it about 4 times this year between my son and myself. It is really cool and everywhere we went it had people smiling. It lasts surprisingly long on a set of AA batteries too, about 5 hours on some rayovacs. Just make sure that you have the legs and the waist very tight with the included drawstring to prevent leaks!!!

I have a couple of these inflatable costumes and this one is the smallest. It is smaller around the hip area than my others are. I wear a size 12 pants, in women's, and it fits but if I were any bigger it would be too tight. My son who wears size 8 in boys can also wear it.
There is elastic around the ankles and drawstring around the waist.
You can hear the fan when it is on, however it isn't loud enough to disrupt talking.
It is good quality and should last for years!

Loved the idea of being different. I bought this for my 11 yr old son and although it is a bit bug on him, it was a big hit while trick or treating! It is highly entertaining. The only down fall is that you have to keep the fan on the entire time when wearing it in order for the costume to stay inflated. After about an hour of trick or treating, somewhere along the route, the cap for the fan cap off and the costume deflated. Once home I was able to hot glue the fan on so I do not need the cap.

As we get closer to Halloween I decided to buy one more inflatable. Now we are going to be the inflatable family in the neighborhood. This review is for the ostrich riding costume. In the bag you will find the costume and the costume inflation unit. You will need to supply 4AA batteries for the device. The batteries should last though the night, but it’s still a good idea to keep a spare with you just in case.
The costume is a lot of fun and looks cool. It really looks like you are riding an ostrich. It’s fairly easy to put on and can be worn over your clothes. I did notice some differences with this inflatable that I don’t like as much as the ones we already have. You will need to tighten this to your waist AND ankles with a pull string retainer system. The first problem is that it doesn’t stay the tightest. So if you consider yourself on the thinner side you should consider tying a knot in the string to help it stay tight. This will however make it that much more difficult to put on and take off. You will also need to tuck in the strings at your ankles so they are not dragging on the floor. Our other inflatable just use an elastic band at the ankles which I much prefer. This is not a huge deal since you’ll probably only wear this a couple times a year. That being said, don’t forget to remove the batteries when you put it away. You don’t want a nasty surprise in the battery compartment the following year. This is a nice costume at a decent price. You will surely turn some heads wearing this thing.

What a funny costume! I love how well it airs up quickly once you get everything zipped and velcroed. At 5'6", I wish there was some sort of tie around the waist because it does tend to droop down some which makes the monkey lean over more. It still looks okay but if the crotch of the outfit came up higher, which is what would happen with a tie around the waist, it would make the monkey stand up taller and look more like a standing-up piggyback-ride than the monkey crouching over. Having said that, for someone taller and with longer legs, it would work perfectly so it really is made for any size people. The elastic around the legs is pretty tight and the elastic around the neck it a bit binding as well but it keeps the suit aired up very well.

This ballerina costume is very cute. There is a blower inside that inflates the costume and keeps it puffed out. Open the battery case with the included small screwdriver. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the compartment. Clip the battery case onto the waistband of your clothes. Zip up the back of the suit, closing the neck tab, and tighten the string closures of the arms and legs to keep the air from escaping. Slide the switch to the on position on top of the battery case, and the suit will start inflating. The suit is made of a waterproof polyester. The crown is a fabric covered foam with elastic back.

Funny costume. Its to big for kids, but my 7 year wanted to try it out. I did notice that it inflated better on her than on myself.

This is a really cool costume, it uses 4x AA batteries that are not included. The fan does have to stay on the whole time, it's not too loud. The hat is not great, I paired it with my own hat.
