They are a bit large, but the design and look is nice. Had to pull them extra tight, but that might be just because im in between sizes. I wear a 36 in pants size but have moved down to a 34 lately (summer for ya).

Good purchase in Boston the year of the big snow!

They are nice, but they do run a little snug.

Just received these in the mail. After going to Arctix website (and Amazons) to looking at the sizing chart the snow pants should have fit well. WRONG, these pants are way to small to be a mens 3X.

These are great when I ride my scooter in the cold weather. In driving, steady rain or in heavy rain, these snow pants are great. They fit over my pants just fine. When my regular pants ripped the other day, I wore these at work until I got home. They look great. They fit great. They have two zip up pockets, so I don't lose stuff as I ride. If your not limber and fit like a kid, just keep pulling the pocket zippers until they're all the way closed. The velcro allows the waist to expand comfortably and easily. They fit over boots too. They're easier to get on and off if you take off your shoes or boots, but you don't NEED to.

I tried pulling these over a pair of pants, and the "large" (36") waste was somewhat tight.....good "short" inseam, however, for one who likes such at 29 to 30"......May end up just wearing them with thermal underwear, assuming that will do the trick on cold, windy days when snow is about here in New England.

They fit way too long, the snaps at the front don't match up, so they can never be closed. The sippers in the pockets are awkward to close for some reason.

Used them only one day so far. Seems like a decent pair of snow pants for the price. Issue I have is it's too long. I got the 4x regular and didn't mind so much the waist was little large but length was too long. I would have got the short ones but those costed $16 more which I can't understand why. I might return these if I find something else to replace them for similar price.

These were my first pair of ski/snow pants. I bought them for a trip to Germany, where there was constant snow. See below for a general overview of pros and cons.

Pros:
- Waterproof: truly waterproof. I tried them out in rain and snow (up to knee-deep) and there was no water damage or leakage of water inside the pants.
- Breathable: never sweat in these despite hiking for hours.
- Warm: these pants are very well insulated. I did not have to wear thermals under these and my legs were always warm, even in single-digit (Fahrenheit) weather. I sat on ice and blocks of snow and my legs never got cold.
- Durable and well-made: I put these pants through rough terrain and non-stop snow exposure. They held up excellent and no evidence of wear and tear.
- Very comfortable
- Fit very well: I am a little under 5'4" with a 28 waist. Although these pants were a bit wide at the waist, there are elastic velcro bands on the sides that you can tighten to shrink the waist. Despite this, the pants were still a bit wide at the waist but I can't blame the company for that being that I have a 28 waist and there "Small" size fits more like a 30.

Cons:
- The only issue I had with these was the length. They are a bit long on me, to the point that the bottom backs of the pants scrap the ground even when I'm wearing snow boots. Again I'm a little shy of 5'4" and usually wear a 30-inch short inseam for my regular jeans and dress pants but these seem to be more of a 30-inch long inseam. But these are the shortest snow/ski pants I could find for this price so I'll take it.

Overall, I am happy with my purchase. They definitely did the trick in Germany, where there was constant snow. I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking for reliable, durable, warm, waterproof pants for cold weather.
