We purchased this summer 2013. It fit great, not too tight on my two year old. We packed it away in a safe place in the closet and got it out for an indoor party in November and it was popped. My husband will try to patch it but very disappointed. For the price and based on reviews I was hoping it would hold up as we would have liked to have used it again during summer 2014

I bought this for my two little granddaughters after returning from vacation, where they used one and loved it. I sent it to them in another state, and it has never held air properly. I didn't learn about this until I visited recently, and it's now too late to return it. I want to warn others.

This thing is amazing! My timid 3 year old zips around the pool. She loves it! It keeps her at a good angle, without worrying that she might tip over. She can control whether she is upright and just floating, or if she wants to lean forward and swim. It took maybe 2 minutes for her to figure out how to swim with this, I think it will really help when it comes time for swim lessons.

We have now bought six of these (we have twins) some have lasted days, some have lasted weeks. Each one sprung a leak and not one lasted the entire summer. Best product we can find for having stress free pool side fun, but I'm tired of buying them.

We bought swim sweaters for my children 20+ years ago, so I was excited to find that I could also get one for my granddaughter. As a former competitive swimmer, I believe in getting my children in the water at an early age. The swim sweater allows small children (ages 6 mos to 2 years - the current age of my granddaughter) the freedom ot roam the pool independently (with me close by her side). The style, when my children used their swim sweater, was more of a tank top rather than the shirt that it is now, this makes it a little more difficult to get on, but is great for sun protection. I'm not a big fan of the purple and link colors, but it's such a great product that I can live with the colors.

These are great for new swimmers, lil ones. I had them for my kids and now this one is for my granddaughter!

This fit my 2 1/2 30 pound toddler great. She would get irritated with the swimmies on her arm so this was a great solution to help keep her afloat while she gained some confidence in the water. Obviously, this is not a flotation device and you need to stay with your child while they are wearing this but honestly this held her up great and gave us the freedom to play in the water together and swim without me having to hold up her weight. Made her comfortable too to experiment with the water and swimming, knowing she wasn't going under.

My 2 year old daughter loves swimming with her tube. It keeps her upright and secure. It needs a bicycle pump to inflate it, but it stays inflated better then any other tube. I would definitely recommend this product and buy it again

I can remember my little brothers wearing these in the pool when I was a kid. Now I've had three daughters of my own who all wore and enjoyed these swim sweaters as they were getting used to swimming. Its a great device in that the child feels very secure wearing it, really helps them build confidence in the water. You can swim near them, but don't have to hold them all the time. Very, very easy to get on and off. I would not hesitate to recommend this swim device to any parent.

I'm not sure what the recommended age is but our children were all early two years when they started wearing these. I could be wrong about this - but I don't think the tube will keep them completely upright on its own, the child balances a little bit using their legs.

I am writing one review for both products as I bought both and tested them one right after the other. I LOVED BOTH of them.

My daughter is 21 months old and tiny for her age at 22.5 lbs.

SWIMWAYS - Material is very soft. Love that the top is a t-shirt and provides more sun protection. The tube is smaller than the AquaLeisure and is more of a bicycle tire inside. In fact you also need a bike tire pump to pump it up. Once inflated it is actually a slightly larger overall tube but with a smaller circumference than the AquaLeisure (it is more bubbly if that makes any sense). The smaller tube size and overall smaller shirt size seemed to fit my daughter better and should fit her straight through all of next summer too I expect.

AQUALEISURE - Material is very soft and the crotch strap is also a neoprene and a bit padded so no chaffing! It fits a bit larger than the Swimways but with the crotch strap, still worked very well for my daughter as it secured it so no worries of her slipping through at all. The tube ring is larger than the Swimways although this is a double tube system that you can inflate by mouth. The double tube gives a bit of added security in case of leakage. Mine was tricky to bite to allow the air access though. The actual tube is larger but thinner than the Swimways.

My daughter loved the comfort of both of these products and was swimming around the pool in each one in a matter of minutes (with me very close by of course). I had no worries of her flipping her head under or anything of the sort. Awesome products and VERY highly recommended. I like this type of swim aid better than a full suit as this way you can just put on a bottom or a washable or disposable swim nappy and it makes a bottom change much simpler is required. Excellent. I am super happy with both!

If I had to pick a preference, I might choose the SwimWays but only because it fits a bit smaller and my daughter is so tiny. But I will certainly be using both of these for a while to come.

If anyone has any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them.
