Planting Season and Suggestions wanted

This is what this corner of my yard looked like when we bought our house last June.

And this is the view this morning. (8 months later)

I am planning to reorganize my days next week to start blogging regularly in the evening. I want to set up more of a schedule with “Mondays in My Garden” and Friday’s “Jane’s cup of Joe” as regular features! ┬áBut for today? The piles of flagstone are calling my name – and all of those weeds to the left need to be pulled!

So I thought I would ask for feedback – What are some topics you would like to learn more about in YOUR Garden?

What about weekly themes such as Tackle it Tuesday, Wordless or Wordful Wednesday, Thrifty thursdays, etc?

I would love to see the community that has grown around this blog be a venue for sharing our collective experiences!

Wow! Your yard is beautiful. Talk about a lot of work. Great ideas and I’ll be checking in for Mondays in the Garden as I LOVE to garden (the veggie kind in particular). Here in NE Ohio I’ll be starting seeds inside this weekend and won’t be able to bring outside till the end of April / middle of May. So we are definitely on a different growing season.

I think that Financial-readiness is so important too so Thrifty Thursday is a great idea. Let’s show other military families that Thrifty doesn’t mean ‘cheap’ but means financial-smarts. I try to tackle that subject whenever I can over at ‘Our Letters to You’.

    Enjoy that Flagstone! – Leanne

I’ve been watching gardening videos on youtube all week, I’m so excited you are going to share your knowledge! I’d love to know what you do when you PCS. Do you start from scratch? Do you move any plants with you?

I love your backyard! I will definitely be coming to you with questions soon. My little plants are starting to come up and I’ll need to transplant them at some point. :)
