frosty mornings have become the norm…
the leaves are changing each day…
vibrant flowers are becoming more rare…
fresh apples are abundantly in season…
and there is a scent of future snow on the breeze…
for our family, each passing season also brings us closer to our see you soon…
What are the little milestones you look forward to as the seasons change?
How do you measure the passing of time during family separations?

I love, love, love that 5th picture down. So pretty!
We’re transitioning out of my favorite time of the year now, so the milestones I look forward to most are already past! I love when the ivy starts to turn red (you even have a picture of that!), when the winds blow the cold air in, the smell of rain on fall leaves…I’m really happy we were able to return to Germany in time to experience all that this year.
I guess I’m looking forward to snow now…although I know I will be regretting that statement in a couple months. Ha!

Beautiful pictures! We have yet to deal with a deployment since we’ve had kiddos, and I’m not looking forward to when it does happen. I can only hope I can handle it with the grace that you seem to!

I love Fall with the changing leaves and frosty mornings. But I usually dread the coming of Winter…until this year. As for you, the changing seasons mark the time getting closer to our Soldier coming home too. I’m SO looking forward to Winter this year…
I hope this time passes quickly for all of us!
