If you follow me on Facebook, you might have noticed some comments about Junkin last weekend…
Among my exciting finds where two vintage chairs… but WHERE shall I put them?
Here is my living room before…
(I am standing the corner, tv to my right)
How about along the back wall facing the tv?
perhaps a quarter turn so they can chat?
Maybe they would be happier by the window…
Does this make my table look fat?
Maybe Mr Orange would be happier over here with me…
All was well in Living Room land until the following day…
WAIT! STOP the CAR!
Do you SEE what I SEE?
Back THERE along the WALL!!!
Is that a marble table?!?!!?
Back to the drawing board…
Where do you find your furniture placement inspiration?
Does anyone want to come over to help move the couches again? I’ll pay you with oreos!

I wish I could come over and help you re-arrange your furniture. It is one of my all time favourite things to do! You can buy flat discs that you place under your heavier pieces and it allow the furniture to practically glide across the room. My creativity is somewhat subdued in our new home as the room set up does not allow me to rearrange. I content myself by changing up and reorganized closets and drawers and cupboards all the time now.
Personally, I like the two chairs together in front of the window. I would place your stacked luggage inbetween them to serve as a little table but it would mean taking off some of them to lower the height. I would leave the longer sofa against the back wall and position the coffee table the way you have it in the first four pictures.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with it all.
