If you follow my blog on Facebook, you might have noticed some chatter about some more Junkin Treasures I found this weekend! Two lovely old suitcases and a small pile of wooden clothes hangers. I loved how some of them had German business advertisements stamped/written on them!
What to do? What to do? Honestly – this is what I was thinking about.
When Miss Ree blogged about her “Jewlery Holder” back in December, I just HAD to have one! But unfortunately, my European bathroom walls are tile – floor to ceiling tile. And as a renter, I best better not be making permanent holes for no fancy schmancy jewelry holder. *dreamy sigh*

So back to my hangers… I pre-drilled some holes with our drill and placed hooks one inch apart….
Then I untangled a spider’s nest carefully hung some of my necklaces…
and above them, some purty bracelets to keep them company…
(I heart 3M strip plastic hooks!)
Don’t they look purty? And so inviting!
I am hoping this will encourage me to wear them more often!

I have an almost obsessive amount of necklaces and a tiny room, so i just stick a colorful tack on the wall and place the necklace there! It makes the room look interesting and I have a space just perfect for it, plus the tacks are of course outrageously cheap. But I love your idea, if I had more earrings, this would be my go-to idea for organization!
Thank you for posting this,
Annie

I love the hanger idea. I made a simple hanger out of piece of wood. I like yours much better. If I see any wood hanger I might have to buy more jewelry. hee hee my hubby might not like that. well unless it inhances my lack of beauty. hee. hee.

Very creative idea. I was looking for a creative and utilitarian way to store jewelry. This is one on the list!
