This week I had the opportunity to take a historic tour of my local German Community.
And after giving it some serious thought, I have decided to be more open on this blog about where I live.
When my husband first received orders for Baumholder, another Army Wife who had lived here told me:
“Baumholder is a “Spouses Tour” – it will make or break your marriage”
I really don’t think a city can break my marriage.
But deployments, separations, and sharing a car — yea they might stress me out.
I also think living anywhere with the military is a lot about attitude.
If you stay on base for 3 years – you are really going to hate it.
But if you have the courage to try some new things now and then – it can be an amazing place to live.
And I would like to share some of that with all of you – my lovely readers.
Because this blog would be nothing without your support and encouragement through your comments!
You really mean a lot to me – thank you!
My hope is also for anyone else who “comes down on orders” for Baumholder – So they can say:
“Yeah I hear things are a little challenging over there – but what a wonderful adventure it will be!”
