2009 Reflection and Anniversary #2

5 Years ago today, I said “I do” to my husband… for the second time…

It was a very small, intimate wedding.
I made my own bouquet.
We had the reception in our new home.
My mother in law made Lasanga.
My sister made the cake.
My mom bought my dress.
I remember Seth’s Grandfather, an Army veteran himself, told us…
“Remember – Don’t just LIVE happily ever after… LOVE happily ever after”
Wow – We look so young… Does that mean I look — wait…
don’t answer that…
change the subject…
Here are my 2009 reflections and photographs
31December 2008 – “Happy 4th Anniversary hunny… I’m pregnant!
4 January – Seth returns to Iraq from his R&R; leave.
…morning sickness….
…serious morning sickness…
…I call my friends to come do my dishes morning sickness…
…ok… focus…
February – My Mom and Dad help me move to a bigger apartment… redneck style…
March – My mom mails me a Kitchen Aid Mixer… my life is changed forever…
(and my love handles become permanent…)
…morning sickness ends…
April – I find out it’s a GIRL and within a week I have her room decorated.
May – Seth returns home from Iraq.
June – We buy a minivan… and I have a “Minvan Mommy Moment
July – My belly is getting bigger.
(8months pregnant)
August – My husband buys me a new camera… and my D-SLR journey begins!
September – Madeline Rose is born.
October – William turns two.
November – I cooked my first Thanksgiving Turkey – it was my second bird ever…
(and I took 17 pictures of it!)
December – Jacob turns four.

It has been a wonderful year full of adventure and blessings.
